POSITIONThis is a funded, three-year renewable appointment.RESPONSIBILITIESThe general responsibilities of this position will include assisting the campus in monitoring/managing numerous small tomedium size campus construction projects. This position will be fully dedicated to defining the critical maintenance and capital needs ofthe college by working with the campus community to effectively manage campus capital projects from inception to completion.Observe progress and quality of work; monitor construction; review contract documents; maintain records; assist architect in reviewing shopdrawings, applications for payment and final inspection of work.Prioritize and define campus construction projects to be performed by the capital construction crew. Supervise the construction crew andassure all projects are completed on schedule and within budget.Provide on-site representation for campus on various construction projects as assigned; oversee contractor compliance with contract drawingsand specifications, monitor contractor progress, handle contractor questions; screen contractor administrative work/payment requests onbehalf of the campus; assist in the planning and design process for all projects; work with faculty, staff, and design professional indevelopment of projects.QUALIFICATIONSRequired
